    Via scenic Naran / Babusar Top - 515 KM - About 11 hours and 30 minutes. Via historical and impressive KKH route - 605 KM - About 13 hours.
  • Types of vehicles recommended for Gilgit region
    Sedan cars can reach most of the places in Gilgit region, However, there are few off-road destinations where only 4 X 4 vehicles are essential, such as Naltar Ski Resort, Bagrot Valley, Shimshal Valley, Deosai National Park etc.
  • Mobile Networks in GB
    All cell phone services operate in Gilgit region. A local mobile network (S.Com) is also available and has coverage in most parts of Gilgit region, especially where other services do not have coverage.
  • Weather of GB
    Gilgit-Baltistan weather is dry and extreme. Gilgit's weather is pleasant in the months of March to May with comfortable nights. June and July may be hot with mild nights. August to October are very pleasant days with comfortable night. November to February are cold. Weather varies from valley to valley with altitude. Places such as Khunjerab National Park and upper Hunza are chillier during autumn and spring.
